A list of all policies and strategies scheduled for development or review in the foreseeable future (two to three years). Also, at the appropriate time, a public announcement that the institution is initiating the development or review of a policy or strategy and a request for initial input. |
| Recommended Standard |
To permit effective public participation, institutions should maintain and disclose a list of all policies and strategies scheduled for development or review in the foreseeable future (two to three years), along with a general indication of when the review is likely to take place. This list should be regularly updated and it should be clear that comments from stakeholders on any of the policies or strategies scheduled for review are welcome at any time. Prior to initiating the policy review, the institution should circulate notice that the review is about to begin and invite comment. |

The Work Program of the Executive Board sometimes relays information about upcoming policies and strategies. The Board's biannual program in publicly available after it has been approved by the board.

web site a list of impending policy or strategy reviews in order to
give adequate advance warning of the posting
of draft reviews and updates." Drafts of policy or strategy reviews will be posted on the Bank's website and the public will be invited to comment on these documents for a period of 45 days.

On the "Strategies and Policies Homepage" the EBRD lists key policies for review in the present year. However exact dates are not listed. The Public Information Policy mandates that a schedule of Board Discussions of sector strategies will be published on the EBRD website.

The Public Information Policy (Sept 2008) does not require a mailing list but the EBRD does maintain one on its website. Interested parties can sign up online and will then receive alerts of EBRD events and developments, including policy reviews.
