Some of the key policies at the ADB are Sector/Thematic Policies, Safeguard Policies, Operational Policies, and the Disclosure Policy. White there is no official procedure for disclosing the final draft of policies and strategies, some are available of an ad hoc basis. For example in the case of the inspection policy and environmental policy review, the final draft documents were disclosed.

A draft policy or strategy is made available for comment, but the final draft emerging from that consultation is not disclosed prior to Board approval.

The EBRD lists final drafts of Corporate Policies, Strategies, and Procedures, Country Strategies, Sectoral Policies and Strategies on its website. However it is not required to disclose the final draft of any of the policies or strategies prior to Board approval.

No information on the disclosure of the final draft of policies or strategies is given by the Public Disclosure Policy (2007).

The IDB is not required to disclose the final draft of policies and strategies. Although they have a dedicated section in their website for public consultation in the review process and they do disclose the initial draft on an ad hoc basis, it is unclear whether they disclose the final draft before the Board approval at all. The Bank has the following main policies: General Operational, Sectoral Operational, Information Disclosure, and Procurement; and the following main strategies: Institutional, Operation Sector, and Country.

This document is not disclosed, except on an ad hoc basis. The IFC does not have official guidelines for its policy and strategy review or development process. However, it does conduct consultations with stakeholders on a case-by-case basis.

There is no information available on IIC's policy on the disclosure of the final draft of its policies or strategies (viz. Policies for Operations with Financial Intermediaries; Operating, Financial, and Investment Policy; Policy on Disclosure of Information; Procedure for Environment and Labor Review of Projects).

The IMF does not have official procedures on policy review or development.

MIGA does not disclose information regarding the development or review of their policies or strategies.

The final draft of a policy or a strategy is not disclosed by the Bank with the exception of selected operational policies (see below).

On a pilot basis, effective April 1, 2005, operational policy review papers will be disclosed at the same time they are circulated to the Board. The pilot is limited to operational policy reviews that are subject to external consultations. The operational policy reviwes which are included in the pilot are decided by the Board on an ad hoc basis.
