Since 1981, the IFC has prepared IARs for 451 projects, and since 1989, the Operations and Evaluations Group has internally circulated a summary of lessons from each year's Investment Assessment Reports. This new booklet would summarize the cumulative thematic lessons of IFC's experience. It would be updated periodically and designed for public disclosure and for training investment staff.
